Exclusively dedicated to quality and compassionate care of children and expecting moms, Miller Children’s Hospital is a pediatric teaching hospital. The Sibling Room was developed to support families when a child is hospitalized to provide a safe, fun place for other siblings to be cared for.  The Music Therapist Program brings fun, skill and distraction to pediatric patients who have experienced an accident, are suffering from brain injury or have an illness. The Amazing Babies Program was created to improve health outcomes for critically ill babies who are at high risk when discharged from the neonatal intensive care unit. Children with Sensory Integration (SI) problems have trouble integrating sensory data into their nervous system such as sounds, sights, touch taste and smell. Therapeutic equipment and home-based tools are used by occupational therapists allowing children to discover new possibilities of functioning. The Murphy Family Foundation has supported each of the programs mentioned above to ensure access to the best care possible.
